Gameloft's popular racing game Asphalt Legends is set to receive a new update titled 'Touge Masters' in July 2026, according to official announcements and verified reports. The update will introduce Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) cars, a dedicated drift mechanic, and a new track set in Japan.
Confirmed vehicles include the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and the Mazda RX-7 (FD3S), both iconic JDM models. The drift mechanic is designed to allow players to maintain speed through corners, a feature inspired by Japanese touge (mountain pass) racing culture.
The new track, named 'Mount Haruna,' is a fictional representation of the famous Japanese mountain pass. The update also includes new customization options and a limited-time event. No specific release date within July has been announced, but the update is expected to roll out in late July 2026.
