Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8, on July 23, 2026, at an event in Seoul, South Korea. The new lineup focuses on durability, productivity, and design, according to the company's press release.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra features a 7.9-inch main display and a 6.3-inch cover screen, both with Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology and a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 offers a 7.6-inch main display and a 6.2-inch cover screen, with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto. It runs on the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip and has a 4,400mAh battery. Both Fold models support S Pen and have an IP48 water and dust resistance rating.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 features a 6.7-inch main display and a 3.4-inch cover screen, with a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and a 3,700mAh battery. The Flip8 is available in multiple colors, including Mint, Graphite, and Peach.
All three devices run on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1 and include seven years of software updates. Pre-orders start today, with general availability on August 6, 2026. Prices start at $1,099 for the Flip8, $1,899 for the Fold8, and $2,199 for the Fold8 Ultra.
