BENGALURU: A 57-year-old woman, Pramila Bai, died after falling from the second-floor terrace of a building in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, while attempting to cut overhanging tree branches. The incident occurred on June 20, 2026, according to local police reports.
Pramila Bai was on the terrace trimming branches when she lost her balance and fell. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The Rajajinagar police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and are investigating the circumstances.
Neighbors reported that the tree branches had been overhanging for some time, and Pramila Bai had taken it upon herself to trim them. No foul play is suspected, and the investigation is ongoing.
