Tudor has officially reissued one of its most historically significant models, the Prince Date Chronograph 'Jumbo,' at the Watches and Wonders 2026 trade fair. The new reference M70330N-0001 faithfully recreates the design of the original 1970s timepiece, known for its 40mm case size, which was large for its era.
The original model holds a unique place in horological history. During the 1970s, Tudor supplied these chronographs to its sister company Rolex, which sold them under its own name with Rolex-branded dials and cases. This makes the vintage versions highly collectible as the closest equivalent to a Rolex chronograph from that period.
The 2026 reissue features a stainless steel case, a black dial with contrasting white sub-dials, and the signature 'Big Block' case shape. It is powered by Tudor's modern manufacture Calibre MT5813 chronograph movement, which provides a 70-hour power reserve. The watch is offered on a three-link stainless steel bracelet.
The release is part of Tudor's ongoing strategy to mine its archive for historically important designs, updating them with contemporary technology and manufacturing standards for today's market.
