After several days of relatively cool weather and unstable conditions in some mountainous regions, Morocco is expected to experience a gradual rise in temperatures starting from mid-week, according to the latest forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
The DGM reports that temperatures will increase by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in most regions, with the highest increases in the interior and southern areas. Coastal areas will see a more moderate rise due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean.
This warming trend is attributed to a high-pressure system moving in from the south, bringing warmer air masses. The DGM advises residents to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged sun exposure during peak hours, especially in the afternoon.
No significant rainfall is expected in the coming days, except for isolated light showers in the High Atlas and Rif mountains. The weather will remain generally sunny across the country.
