Morocco has officially launched a modernization project for the sorting and distribution process of electronic driving licenses and electronic vehicle registration certificates (cartes grises). The initiative, announced by the National Agency for Road Safety (NARSA) and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, aims to streamline administrative procedures and enhance services for citizens.
The project involves the digitization of the entire process, from application to delivery, reducing processing times and improving efficiency. According to official statements, the new system will allow for faster issuance and better tracking of documents, with a focus on security and transparency.
This modernization is part of Morocco's broader digital transformation strategy, which seeks to modernize public services and reduce bureaucracy. The initiative is expected to benefit millions of drivers and vehicle owners across the country, simplifying access to essential documents.
