Three projects were signed on Tuesday in Rabat under the Support Program for Cultural and Creative Industries (ICC) in Morocco, part of the cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the European Union (EU).
The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Communication, with Minister Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid and EU Ambassador to Morocco Patricia Llombart Cussac in attendance. The projects aim to strengthen the cultural sector, promote entrepreneurship, and enhance the visibility of Moroccan cultural products.
According to the EU delegation, the total budget for the three projects is approximately €10 million, co-financed by the EU and Moroccan partners. The initiatives focus on supporting artists, cultural enterprises, and creative industries, including film, music, and digital arts.
This program aligns with the EU's broader strategy to support cultural diversity and economic development in partner countries. The projects are expected to create jobs and foster innovation in Morocco's creative economy.
