The 2026 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place from June 20 to July 18, 2026, across multiple cities in Morocco. The Atlas Lions are drawn in Group A alongside Zambia, Sierra Leone, and Comoros.
Morocco's performance in recent years, including a historic run to the semifinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, has raised expectations for the team. Vilda acknowledged the pressure but expressed confidence in the players' abilities. 'We have a talented group, and we are ready to compete,' he added.
