The figure represents a steady pace of business creation, averaging over 8,500 new companies per month. The data covers registrations from January 1 to May 31, 2026.
While the OMPIC report did not provide a sectoral breakdown for this period, previous trends suggest that trade, construction, and services typically dominate new registrations. The agency regularly publishes monthly and quarterly statistics on business creation.
This update comes as Morocco continues to implement economic reforms aimed at improving the business climate, including digitalization of administrative procedures and support for startups and small enterprises.
