Michael R. Miller was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as a District Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma on March 12, 2026. The vote was largely along party lines. He fills the seat vacated by Judge Ronald A. White, who assumed senior status in 2023.
Prior to his confirmation, Miller served as a United States Magistrate Judge for the same district, a position he was appointed to in 2019. He is a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Miller received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. His judicial nomination was part of the Biden administration's ongoing appointments to the federal judiciary.
