The by-election pits the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) against the Democracy for Citizens party. Kuria, a prominent UDA figure, emphasized that the outcome will reflect the party's popularity and organizational strength in Nyandarua County, a key political region.
Kuria stated, 'This by-election will mirror the 2027 vote. We are promising a thorough campaign to ensure our candidate wins.' The election is seen as an early test of UDA's support base following recent political realignments.
