Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Thursday, April 3, 2026, tracking a decline in international bullion rates. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs7,100 per tola.
The association reported that the new price for 24-karat gold settled at Rs486,962 per tola. The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold was reported at Rs417,500.
The drop in local prices mirrored a fall in the international gold market, where the precious metal's price decreased. The APSGJA cited this international trend as the primary reason for the local adjustment.
