Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes is reportedly interested in signing defender Corrie Ndaba from Ipswich Town to address defensive vulnerabilities, particularly against Rangers. Ndaba, a 24-year-old centre-back, spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock, making 35 appearances and impressing with his physicality and composure.
McInnes highlighted Ndaba's ability to handle Rangers' attacking threats, including pace and aerial duels, as a key factor in the potential move. The double issue refers to Ndaba's capacity to cover both central and left-back positions, offering tactical flexibility against Rangers' wide players.
Negotiations are ongoing, with Ipswich Town valuing Ndaba at around £500,000. Kilmarnock are keen to secure a permanent deal before the transfer window closes on August 31, 2026.
