Southwest Guilford and Ragsdale High Schools earned wins in the HiToms Varsity Classic baseball tournament on Monday, March 16, 2026. The event, hosted by the High Point-Thomasville HiToms summer collegiate team, features varsity teams from across the region at Finch Field in Thomasville, North Carolina.
Southwest Guilford defeated Wesleyan Christian Academy with a final score of 4-1. Ragsdale High School secured a 5-2 victory over Grimsley High School in their opening game of the tournament.
The HiToms Varsity Classic is an annual preseason event that continues through the week. Other participating teams include High Point Central, Ledford, and Oak Grove. The tournament provides preparation for the regular high school baseball season in North Carolina.
