West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. has announced positive assay results from its recent infill drilling program at the Fork satellite deposit, part of its West Red Lake Project in Ontario, Canada. The company stated the drilling successfully intersected high-grade gold mineralization, which is intended to upgrade inferred mineral resources to the indicated category and support future mine planning.

According to a company news release from March 2026, notable drill intercepts included 10.57 grams per tonne gold over 5.10 meters. These results are from the ongoing 2026 drill campaign focused on the Rowan and Mount Jamie deposits, which include the Fork zone. The program aims to de-risk the project by increasing confidence in the resource model.

The Fork deposit is a key satellite target located approximately 12 kilometers from the company's key Madsen Mine site. The successful infill drilling is a step in the company's strategy to consolidate and advance its district-scale land package in the prolific Red Lake gold district.

West Red Lake Gold Mines, a company engaged in the exploration and development of gold properties, trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol WRLG. The company has emphasized that these results are preliminary and that further work is required to fully assess the economic potential of the deposit.
