Moroccan national team coach Walid Regragui has included three players based in France's Ligue 1 in his latest squad. The call-ups are for upcoming international fixtures, continuing the coach's policy of scouting talent across European leagues.

The trio consists of defender Anas El Mourabet of FC Lorient, midfielder Amir Richardson of Stade de Reims, and forward Ilyes Zabiri of RC Lens. All three have been regular features for their respective clubs during the 2025-2026 season.

Anas El Mourabet, 22, has established himself as a key defender for Lorient. Amir Richardson, 24, has been a consistent presence in midfield for Reims. Ilyes Zabiri, 21, is a promising attacker for Lens who has contributed with goals and assists this campaign.

Their inclusion is seen as part of Regragui's efforts to refresh the squad ahead of future qualifying campaigns. The Atlas Lions are preparing for their next competitive matches following their participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
