The New Zealand Warriors have suffered a second consecutive NRL defeat, going down 36-22 to the Cronulla Sharks at PointsBet Stadium in Sydney. Winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak scored a hat-trick of tries for the Warriors, but his efforts were not enough to secure a victory.

The Sharks, led by a strong performance from halfback Nicho Hynes, built a commanding lead in the first half. The Warriors fought back in the second period, with Watene-Zelezniak crossing twice, but the Sharks' early advantage proved insurmountable.

The result leaves the Warriors searching for consistency after also losing to the Wests Tigers in the previous round. The Sharks consolidate their position near the top of the NRL ladder with the win.
