Vietnam and Morocco have commemorated the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations, with leaders from both nations exchanging congratulatory messages. According to Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic ties were formally established on March 27, 1961.
Vietnamese President To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent messages of congratulations to King Mohammed VI of Morocco. In response, King Mohammed VI conveyed his greetings to Vietnamese leaders, expressing a desire to further strengthen the cooperative partnership between the two countries.
The relationship has seen development across various sectors, including politics, economics, and culture, over the past six decades. Both sides have frequently exchanged high-level delegations and supported each other in international forums.
Looking ahead, the leaders affirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, aiming to bring tangible benefits to the people of both Vietnam and Morocco.
