USA Basketball has officially confirmed Mark Daigneault, J.B. Bickerstaff, and Mark Few as assistant coaches for the upcoming Olympic cycle, according to a statement released on July 17, 2026. The trio will support head coach Steve Kerr in preparing the men's national team for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Daigneault, head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, brings recent NBA success, while Bickerstaff, currently with the Detroit Pistons, offers extensive coaching experience. Few, the longtime Gonzaga University coach, adds a collegiate perspective.
The appointments were announced following USA Basketball's selection committee meeting. The team is expected to begin training camps in 2027 ahead of the Olympic Games.
