The United States Consulate General in Casablanca inaugurated its new headquarters in the Casablanca Finance City (CFC) district on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The ceremony was attended by senior Moroccan and American officials, including U.S. Ambassador to Morocco Puneet Talwar and Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita.
The new complex, located in the heart of the CFC business hub, is designed to enhance consular services and strengthen bilateral ties. According to a statement from the U.S. Embassy, the facility will house consular, diplomatic, and administrative staff, and includes modern amenities for visa processing and public services.
Ambassador Talwar highlighted the importance of the new premises as a symbol of the enduring partnership between the United States and Morocco. Minister Bourita emphasized the role of the consulate in facilitating economic and cultural exchanges.
The project was completed on schedule and within budget, according to U.S. officials. The new consulate is expected to process a higher volume of visa applications and provide improved services to U.S. citizens in Morocco.
