Two people were taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash on the A55 near Abergele, North Wales, on Friday, April 24, 2026. The incident involved a car that overturned, prompting a response from emergency services.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed that two individuals were transported to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
North Wales Police attended the scene and closed a section of the A55 westbound between junction 24 (Abergele) and junction 23 (Llanddulas) for several hours to allow for investigation and recovery. The road has since reopened.
Authorities have urged anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
