Three people were killed in a violent collision between two motorcycles on the road connecting Ouarzazate city center to the Tamassint area shortly after midnight on June 8, 2026. The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m., according to local authorities.
The impact was extremely violent, leaving no chance for two of the victims, who died at the scene. A third person was critically injured and later died in hospital. The identities of the deceased have not been officially released pending notification of their families.
Emergency services, including the Royal Gendarmerie and civil protection teams, arrived promptly at the scene. The bodies were transported to the morgue of the Ouarzazate Regional Hospital for autopsy. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
