Prime Video has officially announced that the fifth season of its hit superhero satire 'The Boys' is scheduled to premiere in 2027. The confirmation came directly from the show's official social media accounts and a statement from Amazon MGM Studios.
Production for the new season is slated to begin in late 2026. The announcement follows the conclusion of Season 4, which aired its finale in July 2024. The show's creator, Eric Kripke, had previously indicated that the story was planned for a five-season arc.
Specific dates for the release of the first two episodes have not been detailed beyond the 2027 window. The series, based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Antony Starr, who are all expected to return for the final season.
