A sister of one of the four women allegedly abused by their sports coach around 50 years ago has said she was a “completely different person” the day after he allegedly attempted to rape her. The woman told prosecution counsel in the Central Criminal Court that the alleged incident occurred when the coach visited their family home.
The court heard that the sister noticed a dramatic change in the alleged victim's behavior following the incident. The trial continues, with the coach facing multiple charges related to historical sexual abuse.
Details of the case are emerging as the court proceedings unfold. The allegations span a period of approximately 50 years, involving four women who were under the coach's supervision at the time.
