Sheryl Sandberg, author of 'Lean In' and former COO of Meta, has endowed a scholarship at Camp Ramah in honor of her late husband, Dave Goldberg. The scholarship aims to support Jewish youth attending the summer camp.
Camp Ramah, a network of Jewish summer camps, confirmed the endowment in a statement. Sandberg has been a longtime donor to Jewish and Israeli causes, and this scholarship continues her philanthropic work.
Goldberg, who died in 2015, was a technology executive and a strong supporter of Jewish education. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to campers who might not otherwise be able to attend.
