HULU SELANGOR: The search and rescue (SAR) operation for a teenage girl believed to have gone missing while hiking at Bukit Changkat Asa in Tanjong Malim on Saturday (May 23) has entered its third day. The father of the missing teen expressed hope that the ongoing efforts will uncover new leads to locate his daughter.
According to local authorities, the SAR team, comprising police, fire and rescue personnel, and volunteers, has been scouring the area since the girl was reported missing. The terrain at Bukit Changkat Asa is known for its dense vegetation and challenging trails, which have complicated the search.
As of Tuesday (May 25), no significant breakthroughs have been reported. The family remains hopeful as the operation continues, with officials urging the public to avoid speculation and allow the SAR team to work.
