The 11th Regional Fair of Terroir Products of the Oriental officially opened on July 30, 2026, in Saïdia, Morocco. The event, organized by the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of the Oriental, aims to promote local agricultural products and support small-scale producers.
The fair features over 50 exhibitors from various provinces of the Oriental region, including Nador, Berkane, Oujda, and Taourirt. Visitors can discover a wide range of products such as olive oil, honey, argan oil, dates, and traditional pastries.
According to the organizers, the event also includes workshops and conferences on sustainable agriculture, marketing strategies for local products, and the importance of geographical indications. The fair is expected to attract thousands of visitors over its three-day duration.
This initiative is part of the Green Morocco Plan, which seeks to boost the agricultural sector and improve the livelihoods of rural communities. The fair provides a platform for producers to network, share knowledge, and access new markets.
