Cristiano Ronaldo made history on Tuesday by becoming the first male player to score in six different World Cup tournaments. The 41-year-old Portugal captain scored against Uzbekistan in Houston, Texas, during a group stage match.
Ronaldo, who has scored in every World Cup since 2006, broke the record previously shared with Lionel Messi, who has scored in five World Cups. The goal came in the 32nd minute of the match.
Ronaldo's achievement adds to his long list of records, including being the all-time leading scorer in men's international football with over 130 goals for Portugal.
