Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is preparing a special flight operation to transport Moroccan supporters to Monterrey, Mexico, for the national team's Round of 16 match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Monday, June 29, 2026. The airline announced the initiative following Morocco's qualification from Group H, where they finished second behind Portugal.
The special flights will depart from Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport to Monterrey International Airport, with additional connections from other Moroccan cities if demand warrants. RAM stated that ticket prices for these flights would be capped to make travel affordable for fans, though exact fares have not yet been published.
In parallel, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is coordinating with FIFA to secure a dedicated allocation of match tickets for Moroccan supporters. The federation confirmed that a portion of the stadium's capacity—estimated at 53,500 for the Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, Monterrey—will be reserved for traveling fans.
Morocco's opponent in the Round of 16 will be determined after the conclusion of the group stage on June 26. The match is scheduled for a 16:00 local time kickoff (22:00 GMT). This marks Morocco's second consecutive World Cup appearance after their historic semifinal run in 2022.
