Following Morocco's national football team qualification for the round of 16 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced a special flight program to transport supporters to Monterrey, Mexico, where the team will play its next match.
The airline will operate additional flights from Casablanca to Monterrey, with increased capacity to accommodate the high demand from fans. The exact number of flights and schedule details have not been fully disclosed, but RAM stated that the program aims to facilitate travel for supporters.
Morocco's qualification came after a strong group stage performance, securing their spot in the knockout phase. The team's next match is scheduled to take place at the Estadio BBVA in Monterrey.
Royal Air Maroc has previously operated similar special flights for major sporting events, including the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they transported thousands of fans.
