The AI assistant is built on large language model technology and is trained on QIAGEN's proprietary scientific content, as well as publicly available data. It can answer questions about QIAGEN products, suggest optimized workflows, and troubleshoot common issues. The company stated that QIAgent is available initially in English, with additional languages planned.
QIAGEN emphasized that QIAgent is designed to complement, not replace, human expertise, and that all recommendations are based on verified scientific data. The tool is accessible via the QIAGEN website and through select partner platforms.
