Dhillon had resigned from the association earlier this week, citing differences over its functioning and leadership. The association had recently issued a statement regarding her conduct, which Dhillon refuted.
Karan Deol posted on Instagram, "Mom is stable and recovering. Thank you for your wishes." He also requested privacy for the family during this time. Dhillon, known for films like 'Noorie' and 'Tridev', has been active in television and politics.
Health experts note that dengue cases typically rise during the monsoon season in Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has reported over 1,500 cases in the city this year as of mid-August.
