Nebraska softball pitcher Jordyn Frahm was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Year on May 8, 2026, as announced by the conference. Frahm, a junior, led the Big Ten in strikeouts with 210 over 145 innings pitched, posting a 1.45 ERA and a 16-4 record in the regular season.
Frahm is the first Nebraska pitcher to win the award since the Cornhuskers joined the Big Ten in 2011. She also earned first-team All-Big Ten honors, alongside teammates infielder Billie Andrews and outfielder Mya Felder.
Nebraska finished the regular season with a 38-12 overall record and a 16-6 mark in Big Ten play, securing the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament. The Huskers are set to begin tournament play on May 13, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
