The 8th edition of the U19 International Tournament is underway at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Salé, Morocco, from April 20 to 26, 2026. This event, organized by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, brings together top youth teams from around the world, including clubs like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and local sides such as Wydad Casablanca and Raja Casablanca.
The tournament aims to develop young talent and position Morocco as a key player in global football development. The Mohammed VI Academy, inaugurated in 2009, has produced several players now competing in European leagues, highlighting the country's investment in sports infrastructure.
Matches are held at the academy's state-of-the-art facilities, with scouts and coaches from major clubs attending to identify emerging stars. The competition format includes group stages followed by knockout rounds, culminating in a final on April 26.
