Morocco's National Agency for Social Support (ANSS) has officially joined the country's National Portal for the Right of Access to Information. The announcement was made by the National Commission for the Right of Access to Information (CNDAI), the independent administrative authority overseeing the portal.
The integration means the ANSS, a key agency managing social protection programs, is now obligated to proactively publish and disclose information through the centralized digital platform. This move aims to enhance administrative transparency and allow citizens to more easily request and obtain official documents and data related to the agency's activities and decisions.
The National Portal for the Right of Access to Information was established under Law 31.13, which guarantees the constitutional right to access information held by public bodies. The CNDAI has been actively onboarding various public institutions and local authorities to the portal to standardize and facilitate public information requests across the government.
This adherence is part of a broader governmental push to digitize administrative services and strengthen transparency frameworks. It aligns with Morocco's ongoing reforms in public administration and governance.
