The National Lottery Management Company (SGLN) in Morocco is strengthening its responsible gambling framework with new operational tools. The initiative, part of the "Jouons Responsable" (Let's Play Responsibly) program, aims to better prevent risky behaviors and regulate gambling practices across the country.
Key measures being implemented include a self-exclusion system, allowing players to voluntarily ban themselves from lottery points of sale for a chosen period. The SGLN is also introducing mechanisms for setting personal spending limits and enhancing staff training to identify and assist vulnerable players.
These steps align with the regulatory framework established by Law No. 30-13, which governs games of chance in Morocco. The SGLN states the program is a central pillar of its activity, emphasizing player protection alongside revenue generation for state projects.
