Morocco's Ministry of Justice has officially signed an accession agreement to join the National Portal for the Right to Access Information. The signing ceremony was presided over by Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi and Mohamed Abdeljalil, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
The move is part of implementing the country's constitutional provisions and royal directives aimed at strengthening transparency and good governance. The national portal serves as a unified digital platform for citizens to submit requests for access to public information held by government institutions.
By joining the portal, the Ministry of Justice commits to processing information requests through this centralized system, aligning its procedures with Law 31.13 on the right to access information. The integration is seen as a step towards modernizing administrative practices and enhancing public trust in judicial institutions.
The development follows the broader rollout of the portal across Moroccan public administration, which began with its launch by the Digital Transition Delegation. Other key ministries and public bodies have previously joined the platform as part of the national administrative reform agenda.
