The Support Commission for the Organization of Cinematographic Festivals, meeting on March 25 and 26 at the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM), has allocated total funding of 5.49 million dirhams (MAD) to 28 festivals and cultural events across Morocco. The session was chaired by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.

The funding is intended to support the organization and promotion of these cultural events, which are seen as vital for the national film industry. The commission evaluated applications based on specific criteria, including the event's artistic and cultural programming, its management structure, and its regional impact.

The list of supported festivals includes major events like the National Film Festival in Tangier and the International Documentary Film Festival in Khouribga (FIDADOC), alongside numerous regional festivals. This financial support is a regular initiative by the CCM to bolster the cultural sector and ensure the continuity of these important cinematic gatherings.
