Morocco has reached a new milestone in the digitalization of its business environment. More than 50,300 companies have been created online through the DirectEntreprise platform, according to the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC).
This achievement highlights the growing adoption of digital tools for entrepreneurship in Morocco. DirectEntreprise, launched to simplify business creation procedures, allows entrepreneurs to complete all formalities remotely.
The platform is part of broader government efforts to streamline administrative processes and boost the private sector. OMPIC officials have noted the positive impact on reducing bureaucratic delays.
As of May 2026, the platform continues to operate, with authorities aiming to further increase the number of online registrations through ongoing improvements.
