A new industrial automation plant is being established in Agadir, Morocco, with an investment of 12 million dirhams (MDH). The facility is designed to produce automation equipment for local industries, aiming to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce reliance on imports.
The project is part of Morocco's broader strategy to modernize its industrial sector and attract foreign investment. According to local officials, the plant is expected to create dozens of jobs and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.
Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with operations starting in 2027. The plant will focus on assembling and customizing automation systems for sectors such as automotive, textiles, and food processing.
