Morocco and Bahrain have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors. The mutual pledge was made during a meeting between Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Bahraini counterpart, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Istanbul, Turkey.
The ministers reviewed the progress of existing cooperation agreements and discussed new avenues for partnership. Key areas of focus included economic collaboration, investment opportunities, and political coordination on regional and international issues of common interest.
Both officials emphasized the strong historical ties between the two kingdoms and their shared vision for stability and development in the region. The meeting underscored a continued alignment in foreign policy perspectives.
This diplomatic engagement is part of ongoing efforts to solidify strategic partnerships between Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and North African nations, with Morocco maintaining active diplomatic channels with several member states.
