Young Moroccans, both at home and within the diaspora, are increasingly recognized as key drivers of social and economic development. Organizations like Enactus, a global non-profit, support student teams in creating community empowerment projects. The Enactus chapter at the National School of Business and Management (ENCG) in Settat is one such group, where students develop entrepreneurial initiatives aimed at solving local challenges.

The Moroccan diaspora, estimated at over 5 million people, plays a significant role through remittances, knowledge transfer, and investment. In 2023, remittances to Morocco reached a record high of approximately $11.5 billion, according to World Bank data, highlighting their substantial economic impact. This engagement is often channeled into sectors like technology, education, and sustainable development.

Government and institutional programs, such as the "MDM Invest" fund launched by the Ministry in charge of Moroccans Living Abroad, aim to further harness this potential by facilitating diaspora investment in homeland projects. The convergence of local youth activism and diaspora support continues to shape Morocco's development landscape.
