Megarama has announced that it will equip one of the screens at its Rabat multiplex, located in the Arribat Center, with Tricorne Premium LED technology. This will be the first installation of its kind in Morocco, according to the company.
The multiplex currently houses 11 screens and approximately 1,500 seats. The new LED system features a pixel pitch of 3 millimeters, which is designed to deliver high brightness and contrast for an enhanced cinema experience.
Tricorne Premium LED is a direct-view LED display technology that replaces traditional projection systems. It offers improved image quality, deeper blacks, and better performance in ambient light conditions. The installation is part of Megarama's ongoing efforts to modernize its cinemas in Morocco.
Further details regarding the installation timeline and the specific auditorium to be upgraded have not yet been disclosed. Megarama operates several multiplexes across Morocco, including in Casablanca, Marrakech, and Tangier.
