The Faculty of Sciences Semlalia in Marrakech (FSSM), in coordination with the magazine "Club de la Presse," is organizing the Film and Cultural Forum "From Writing to Screen, Meetings Around Moroccan Cinema" from April 17 to 20, 2026.
Driss Roukhe, a prominent Moroccan actor and director, has been named the guest of honor for this edition. The event aims to bring together cinema professionals, academics, and students to discuss the adaptation of literary works into films.
The forum will feature screenings, workshops, and debates focusing on the Moroccan cinematic landscape. According to the organizers, the initiative seeks to promote cultural dialogue and highlight the richness of Moroccan cinema.
