NEW YORK — A 51-year-old man from Connecticut fell to his death from an upper deck of Madison Square Garden during a concert on Saturday night, June 20, 2026, police said.
Officers responding to a 911 call around 9:51 p.m. found the man unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred during a performance by the band Phish, according to multiple reports.
The New York Police Department said the fall appeared to be accidental, and no criminality is suspected. The man's identity has not been released pending notification of family.
