Luis Díaz has stated that his transfer from Liverpool to Bayern Munich last summer was the correct decision for his career. The Colombian winger completed a move to the German champions in August 2025 for a reported fee of €50 million.
"I believe I made the right choice coming to Bayern Munich," Díaz said in a recent interview. "It was a step I needed to take for my development as a player. The ambition of this club matches my own."
Since joining Bayern, Díaz has become a key figure in their attack, contributing goals and assists in the Bundesliga and Champions League. His departure from Liverpool was part of a significant squad overhaul at Anfield following the departure of manager Jürgen Klopp.
Bayern Munich, under new coach Vincent Kompany, are currently competing for the Bundesliga title and remain in European competition. Díaz's performances have been widely praised as he adapts to a new league and style of play.
