Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) has announced its Class of 2027, selecting 45 professionals from the Greater Manchester region for its flagship community leadership program. The program, which runs from September 2026 to June 2027, aims to develop local leaders through a series of sessions focused on community issues, leadership skills, and networking.
Participants were chosen based on their demonstrated commitment to the community and potential for future leadership. The class includes individuals from diverse sectors including business, nonprofit, education, and government. LGM Executive Director Kate Luczko stated, 'This cohort represents the best of our region's talent and dedication to making Greater Manchester a better place to live and work.'
The program includes monthly day-long sessions covering topics such as economic development, education, healthcare, and social services. Participants will also work on community projects in small groups. Since its founding in 1987, LGM has graduated over 1,500 alumni who have gone on to serve in leadership roles across the region.
