A 38-year-old man from Killarney, Manitoba, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a woman in Carman, according to RCMP. The accused, whose name has not been released, was arrested on May 28, 2026.
Police responded to a report of a deceased woman at a residence in Carman on May 27. The victim has been identified as a 34-year-old woman from the community. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Winnipeg on June 1, 2026. RCMP continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact Carman RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
