The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) has announced a series of public listening sessions focused on energy affordability. The sessions are scheduled for April 2026 and will be held in multiple locations across the state, including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Evansville.

The initiative aims to gather direct testimony from residential utility customers, community organizations, and other stakeholders regarding the challenges of rising energy costs. The IURC stated the feedback will inform its ongoing work and regulatory oversight.

Commissioners will be present to hear concerns, but the sessions are for listening and will not involve immediate rulings or debates on specific cases. The IURC encourages written comments to be submitted through its official website for those unable to attend in person.
