Sunday's weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with another slight rise in temperatures, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. The coastal plain will remain relatively cooler due to sea breezes.
By midweek, temperatures are forecast to climb further, reaching above seasonal averages. The hottest days are expected on Friday and Saturday, with potential for heat wave criteria in parts of the country, including the Jordan Valley and Negev.
Authorities advise staying hydrated, avoiding direct sun exposure during peak hours, and checking on vulnerable populations. The heat wave is expected to ease by early next week.
